DVRs get Top Marks for School Safety

New Video surveillance system helps Welsh school monitor activities and deter vandalism. Students at Duffryn High School in Newport, Wales, have learned to think twice before vandalizing school property.
They know there’s a good chance that the school’s video surveillance system will catch them in the act. With the recent retirement of a 10-year-old, tape-based system and the acquisition of a March Networks 4000 Series Digital Video Recorder (DVR) system, they’re even more careful.
