This paper gives a general introduction to the composition, operation and benefits of a fully digital system, using the example of a CCTV application based on VideoBridge technology. In this context, a fully digital system is one where the transmission of video, audio and data takes place without the presence of a deedicated physical infrastructure connecting the camera to the monitor.
