Codestuff reports that its Rapid VideoWall is the ideal monitoring solution when you need to display video from a variety of sources using different compression methods. With high performance decoding of MJPEG, MPEG2, MPEG 4, MXPEG and JPEG2000 Rapid VideoWall couldn't be easier to use whether as a standalone solution managed with web services or as part of an existing video management suite.
The first step is to add devices. You can choose video from a DVR, encoders or direct to/from an IP camera, the result is always the same. Then simply choose the display style you want from the great variety available. Highlight the display you wish to use, go to the drop down menu and choose a device and start to stream the video. Rapid VideoWall is able to display 25 streams of video at any one time and with the right graphics card they can be divided across 4 monitors.
With latest release of the Rapid VideoWall it is now possible to have a snapshot of video displayed in the control window. This makes it easier and quicker to identify the source of video. You can even control how often the video snapshot is changed in the configuration screen.
