Cisco Systems and the IP UserGroup – delivering the Cisco Networking Excellence Program
Cisco Systems is eager to work with the IP UserGroup to educate organizations and individuals on the significant benefits that network-based physical security systems can provide. Cisco views the User Group as a critical means of demonstrating the significantly enhanced security, efficiency and flexibility, that network-centric video surveillance and access control can provide.
In particular we will be working closely with IP UG to jointly deliver the “Cisco Networking Excellence Program (CNEP)”. This Program will bring much of Cisco’s networking knowledge and content to the members of the User Group, and enable them to build and deploy robust solutions that take advantage of the power of the network.
But it will be a two-way process. Cisco expects to learn just as much from the members of the User Group, as you will learn from us. The User Group will provide us with key requirements that we can build into our development and marketing plans. Our network-based video surveillance and security systems will be continually enhanced based on member feedback.
I’d like to thank the organizers of the IP UserGroup for giving us this opportunity.
