The certification means that images from the company’s NVMS are admissible as legal evidence in court. The Kalagate Imagery Bureau certifies forensic imagery for the judicial systems in the UK, Wales, Scotland, and around the world. Kalagate staff are experts in the fields of forensic analysis of analogue and digital CCTV video footage and still imagery comparison used in crime prevention on behalf of the police, other law enforcement agencies and in the defence of criminals caught on CCTV cameras. They are also experts in facial and body mapping, vehicle identification, Vehicle Recognition Number identification and identification of weapons.

DVTel’s Latitude NVMS is a fully scalable, open-standard, enterprise-level multimedia management system. This advanced network-based system architecture enables simultaneous monitoring of video and audio, live and recorded, from multiple stations. After careful evaluation of DVTel’s Latitude NVMS software-based solution, the analysis by Kalagate's experienced forensic imagery analysts has concluded that the system’s images were more than acceptable in terms of the quality and suitability necessary for use as evidence in courts of law.
