The Pelco DX8000 and DX8100 Series of digital video recorders and the Agilence Intelligent Video Auditing Solution now work together to help reduce loss from multiple sources while creating better operational efficiency.
According to Pelco management, the integration of these products will save time, identify theft and assist in eliminating employee errors – particularly in the retail industry – by controlling losses and inventory shrinkage. The combination of retail issues addressed by this integration lends to greater profits for the end-user and also will serve as a retail sales auditing tool.
“The Pelco/Agilence solution combines all the advantages of powerful data-mining tools and retail-specific investigative techniques, allowing retail management to accurately identify and reduce shrink at the point-of-sale, pinpoint operational problems and equipment failures, and identify training issues,” says Pete Schmidt, Pelco Industry Solutions Director.

Integration places video in the palm of your hand with Pelco and QEEPS, a mobile video security solution from Vemotion Interactive Limited of the United Kingdom. The QEEPS solution supports Pelco DX8100 Series Digital Video Recorders or Pelco IP110 and IP3701 Series IP Cameras.
According to Pelco management, at any time a user can connect to QEEPS to view analog cameras connected to their Pelco DVR or IP cameras within their facility. They may also configure their DVR to notify them of any alarm events or motion detected. The QEEPS solution also monitors the DVR and notifies you if the DVR goes offline. You can now react instantly to situations through your mobile phone.
