OnSSI Launches New IP Video Platform
On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI) announces the launch of an IP video surveillance platform for small and medium businesses. ProSight-SMB 6.0 incorporates many features previously available only on OnSSI’s large-scale and enterprise-class platforms.
Mulli Diamant, VP of Sales at OnSSI explains, “More and more users – businesses, small schools and colleges, residential and other – are seeking a reliable, upgradeable software solution to replace their current proprietary DVR solution and enable them to easily access, identify, retrieve and export events and exceptions.”
ProSight-SMB 6.0 is bundled with OnSSI’s NetGuard-EVS video client, which enables remote monitoring, after-the-fact investigation assisted by digital PTZ into recorded images and access to motion detection events, and export of evidence. In addition, users can access video over the web or LAN via the NetGuard video client, which requires no software download, further increasing usability.
In other OnSSI news, the company announces the appointment of DataStrait Networks as its manufacturer's representative for the North-Midwest region. Included in the territory to be represented by DataStrait Networks are North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
