AMT has completed an integration to the OnSSI IP Video management system. Combining the OnSSI product with AMT's OpenFoundation(TM) product allows programmers and IT professionals to easily work with data from video and access control systems in a simple, combined manner. The first company to offer this capability using OpenFoundation is Envoy Data (Gilbert, AZ). Envoy has begun shipping this integration as an option to their already successful 1Point management software. As an integrated product, Envoy Data's 1Point will be able to provide customers with a total IP security package, offering full IP Surveillance and IP Access Control capabilities.
OpenFoundation is a middleware platform designed for programmers to easily work with a variety of card reading systems including, but not limited to, those sold by HID and Mercury Security. 1Point is an application created on top of OpenFoundation and currently supports the HID access lines of Edge and VertX and now has moved to the next step by incorporating video.
