Pelco Wireless Sets New Performance Standard

The introduction of the new Endura Wireless System from Pelco seamlessly extends the Endura IP Video Security System architecture beyond the confines of a wired infrastructure. Designed from the ground up for the harsh demands of outdoor video surveillance applications, the Endura Wireless series of encoders and transceivers sets a new standard for wireless video transmission and performance.

The Endura Wireless System is comprised of three main components – the EW5301T Wireless Encoder, the EW5001 Single Radio transceiver, and the EW5002 Dual-Radio transceiver. The EW5301T combines encoding and wireless transmission into one integrated unit. The companion EW5001 wireless transceiver can be programmed as an access point (point-to-multipoint) or bridge (point-to-point), while the companion EW5002 is programmed as a dual access point (point-to-

multipoint), dual bridge (point-to-point), or repeater (backhaul). With a choice of six antenna options, users can easily configure a system to meet their needs.

"Up until now, third-party wireless technologies were not designed with IP video performance as their primary objective," says Rob Morello, Pelco Senior Product Marketing Manager. "Endura Wireless is designed to deliver high-quality full frame rate video and easy, seamless installation for integrators. End users will appreciate the fully systemized approach, where all components are aware of each other and components are configured, managed and used under one common interface."

All Endura IP Video Wireless components are fully systemized with Endura, providing easy installation, high-quality digital streams, and instant diagnostics. Compared to other systems, the Endura Wireless powerful radios deliver a higher quality signal over longer distances. Better performing radios deliver higher link speeds, greater uptime, and an optimized user experience for IP wireless video.

This latest IP wireless offering enhances the power and flexibility of the Endura system. Endura IP Video Wireless is ideal for multiple applications, including parking structures; multi-building campuses and airports; seaports, dams, and waterways; government and citywide municipal surveillance installations; and anywhere else not supported by a wired infrastructure. Get the high-quality image, power and performance that Endura IP video offers – now also in a wireless offering.
