Company Adds Pivot3 Serverless Computing® Support for DigitalSentry™ Products
Pivot3®, Inc, the fastest-growing storage provider for physical security, announced support for the Pelco DigitalSentry video management software with the Pivot3 Serverless Computing® platform. End users running this Pelco product will now have access to the reduced cost and high availability benefits of Pivot3 Serverless Computing® platforms. For integrators, Pivot3 adds configuration assistance and field support for installations featuring the Pelco and Pivot3 open-system components.
"We are installing Pivot3 systems in retail environments because the integrated servers significantly simplify these environments," said Kortney Dunkle, president of Cam-tek Systems Incorporated, a leading integrator based in Pennsylvania. "We are able to reduce the solution footprint for our customers, who care about power and cost, and they are happy to see the savings they can get with Pivot3."
"Open-system solutions are quickly becoming a major part of the market," said Alastair Hayfield, research manager at IMS Research. "Vendors that work together reduce risk and support costs for end users and integrators alike."
"Pelco is a supporter of open-system solutions, and today, we continue to expand the number of integration and development partners to provide our customers with more choices and flexibility," said Dave deLisser, Pelco director of integration.
"We welcome Pelco to the HD Storage Alliance and are pleased to add the DigitalSentry products to our growing set of open-system solutions," said Lee Caswell, founder and CMO of Pivot3. "We have seen a rising demand for Pelco products as more customers recognize the instant ROI created by Serverless Computing where physical servers are replaced with embedded virtual servers."
