The significance and advanced capabilities of the TimeSight platform have been recently demonstrated at customers large and small who have deployed megapixel IP cameras and the TimeSight intelligent NVR with Motion Optimized Recording (MORe) to protect people and property while actually reducing video surveillance storage costs.  Representatives from TimeSight customers will be available at ISC West to discuss how the TimeSight solution enables them to store high quality images for months and provide details on how the solution paid for itself in less than 180 days by quickly resolving multiple security incidents.

TimeSight V 2.2 makes high-resolution video surveillance an effective and affordable security tool by dramatically improving the quality and quantity of valuable video data without sacrificing retention or being forced to store only motion-oriented events, which can leave security gaps. The use of VLM technology makes it possible to continually reduce the size of stored video over time, saving up to 90 percent of the storage normally required. With the addition of TimeSight Systems’ MORe capabilities, further intelligence is applied to allow the capture and storage of all video by storing the ‘non-motion’ video at highly compressed footprints and much lower frame rates than motion-oriented video, resulting in massive storage savings while providing 100 percent video coverage versus other ‘record on motion’ techniques which completely ignore these periods and leave gaps in security visibility.

TimeSight V2.2 NVRs also offer intelligent, high speed search by motion, giving users the ability to search through only the ‘motion events of interest’ for fast and accurate detection, location and reviewing of critical, quality video data.

TimeSight Version V2.2 will be available for new shipments and as a downloadable upgrade for existing users under a valid support contract.
