Product Profile: The CyGOSTM System is based on a patent pending technology and provides two end user benefits:
1. Out of sight cameras for video surveillance
2. Requires no modifications to existing physical infrastructure for system installation.
CyGOS is a scalable IP security system, consisting of multiple IP security nodes. In addition to a camera and audio sensors, each node comprises of multiple computers to handle H.264 video compression, IP video and 2-way sound communications over existing AC power lines. These nodes are compactly packaged to be concealable inside existing light fixtures. The installation requires no other modifications to the existing physical infrastructure since the communication of IP video, audio, and access control data is conducted over existing AC wiring. Other built-in features include edge recording and video analytics.
The CyGOS Server software component runs on a Windows-based PC. It manages a self organizing IP communication network over the existing AC wires to provide PSIA-compliant IP video streams for integration with 3rd party PSIA compliant video and security management software platforms.
