Genetec's Integrated Solutions Protect High Security Facility
   Genetec announces that the Canadian Bureau of Investigations and Adjustments (CBIA) has purchased and installed Genetec's integrated access control and video surveillance IP solutions at the new corporate office in Montreal. The Canadian-based company, which offers various security services such as protective, investigative, electronic surveillance and counter measure services, has just launched an armored car division, called Centurion Armored Car Services Inc., and was looking for an advanced technological solution.
  
Techworld Security Project of the Year
   DVTel and Telindus are winners of Techworld Security Project of the Year in conjunction with the Harland & Wolff 21st Century IP Surveillance project. The Techworld Awards recognize both products and users for innovation. Each year, the Techworld Awards honor the products and users from the European IT industry that have made a significant difference.
   
Fluidmesh Network Cuts Down Installation Time at Business Park

   Recognizing how important security and safety is to its customers, SEGRO, a property investment and development company headquartered in the U.K., has installed a CCTV system at the Kings Norton Business Centre, Birmingham. Rather than hardwiring the system, SEGRO employed a Fluidmesh 2200 wireless mesh network to help reduce the cost and time of the installation.
   Kings Norton Business Centre, the premier business center in south Birmingham, is located on a 60 acre site. It is wholly owned by SEGRO and meets the business space needs of a diverse range of companies.

Axis is Opening New Offices in China, Brazil and Russia     
   Axis Communications announces that the company is opening new sales offices China (Beijing) and Brazil (São Paolo) and Russia (Moscow). There is great interest in network video in all of these regions and by establishing local offices, Axis strengthens its presence on markets with development potential.
Milestone Improves Safety at Oil Rigs  
   Newest model drill rigs improve safety and control with IP video integration: Aker Solutions Advanced H6 drilling rigs use a custom-integrated Milestone video surveillance software solution for state-of-the-art operations in harsh environments. 
 
OnSSI Cams Protect Orlando            
   A surveillance video program implemented in Orlando, FL. uses IP video surveillance software from OnSSI. The program is called Innovative Response to Improve Safety (IRIS) and will detect crimes or other incidents and send alerts to law enforcement.
