IQinVision Catches the Bad Guys
A fitness center parking lot in Southern California has been plagued by car break-ins for years and over a 12-year period not a single robbery had ever been prosecuted. Recently, an IQinVision IQeye 852 recording on motion, managed by Milestone software and using an end-to-end Motorola wireless broadband solution, recorded yet another car break-in in this particular parking lot. Days later, the perpetrators were picked up on another offense. After a routine plate check, their plates matched those captured on the IQeye video taken of the robbery, despite the plates being partially covered up.

NUUO IP-Based Security System At Downtown Dallas Sheraton
Systems Integrator, 911 Security Camera, and a NUUO IP surveillance system are helping the largest hotel in Dallas protect 1,842 guest rooms. The 96 security camera solution, which was installed by 911 Security Camera, allows the hotel's security personnel to monitor live and recorded video from all the cameras. The system also makes it possible for security to control alarms from the CCTV and access control systems, both of which are integrated over the IP network.

According to Frost & Sullivan, the Ocularis intelligent IP video surveillance platform from On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI) "offers the functionality, unlimited scalability and lower total cost of ownership needed for a smooth transition from a digital surveillance platform to an integrated IP-based security platform." The consulting firm has named Ocularis from OnSSI as recipient of its "2009 North American Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation of the Year Award" in the field of intelligent video surveillance software solutions.

The i-Pro megapixel cameras from Panasonic System Solutions Company features the company's exclusive mega Super Dynamic imaging technology and streaming of H.264, MPEG-4 and JPEG compression formats. The 3.0 megapixel cameras provide images at 30 frames per second in H.264 format (in 1.3 megapixel mode).
