Genetec’s AutoVu Protects Streets of Brussels against Vehicle Theft
Genetec has announced that the Anti-Aggression Brigade from the Brussels Police Department has chosen AutoVu, Genetec’s IP license plate recognition (LPR) solution, to facilitate the detection of stolen vehicles within the city. The entire installation consists of six AutoVu Sharp cameras that can be interchangeably mounted on 10 police vehicles and that have been pre-cabled and pre-configured for ease of portability and maximization of usage.

Texas Police Departments Select Genetec to Counter Auto Theft
Genetec has announced that within the last four months, five independent police departments within the State of Texas selected AutoVu, Genetec’s advanced license plate recognition (LPR) solution, to automate the recovery of stolen vehicles. Currently, Houston PD, Corpus Christi PD, Del Rio PD, El Paso PD and Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department, all located in Texas, have each equipped their team of officers with AutoVu.
