Presentation Title: Opening Keynote "Physical Security Takes the Onramp to the Information Super Highway"
Description: What technologies are revving up 2010? There is an undisputed trend for physical security data to migrate onto the corporate IP network not only for network economies of scale but also for integration capabilities. Intra-security integration includes security and safety systems such as access control, perimeter monitoring, and fire/safety systems sharing the network with systems such as accounting systems, marketing systems, and analysis systems that use video data as "just one more input" to their factoring processes. In addition to the integration of these systems, the emergence of "cloud computing," based upon today's robust networks, introduces a new world for physical security providers, that of Security As A Service (SaaS). This new business model opens opportunities to escalate Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) and to increase the "stick-in-ness" with clients to build long-term relationships and loyalty...but only if you know the technologies and can apply them.

Presentation Title: The 5 C's of Security as a Service: "Why End-Users are Looking to the Cloud"
Description: Cloud computing, while having gained substantial penetration in a number of industries for many different applications, is still somewhat new to the security industry. Lately, end users are increasingly looking to cloud-based solutions for their security needs, and Security as a Service can be delivered to meet their requirements and expectations. This session will discuss cloud computing for security, how integrators can get in on the action, and which end users are demanding it now and why. This presentation will clearly demonstrate that Security as a Service offers real long-term benefits and value for end users and integrators alike. Join John Szczygiel to learn the scope of Security as a Service, the Mega-trends driving SaaS adoption and why SaaS is emerging as the dominant computing model.

Presentation Title: Emerging Technology: "Intelligent Storage in the Camera"
Description: Today’s next-generation intelligent video surveillance solutions are revolutionizing the ways in which organizations protect themselves against security threats. With advanced video analytics and digital recording capabilities combined into a single IP camera, these next-generation systems use intelligence to not only detect and warn of threats but store video only when needed, prolonging hard drive life expectancy and performance. As a result, organizations are increasing their effectiveness, efficiency and ROI. Join Doug Marman for a discussion on how intelligent video surveillance is being used by organizations of all kinds with tremendous effect.

Presentation Title: Goal Number One: "Catch the Bad Guys"
Description: This session will cover the basic elements of defining and deploying a successful IP video system including: addressing user requirements, when to consider different compression methods like H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG, and how to maximize the investment in an IP system. By using simple descriptive terminology and basic video standards that end users, architects, and integrators can easily understand, you are shown how to develop a series of guidelines that will substantially improve system design and installation. Join Peter DeAngelis and find out how to "put it all together" to catch the Bad Guys.

Presentation Title: Protecting your Investment in Analog: "Using Hybrid Technologies"
Description: IP solutions can provide many potential benefits, including ease of deployment, reduced infrastructure and increased issue resolution. However, migrating to IP requires careful consideration of all system needs. IP cameras can add value to a video system, but users must weigh the benefits of IP against analog and digital-analog hybrid solutions. This presentation details the factors to consider when applying IP technology, including: Where to best deploy IP & megapixel cameras; Ensuring the best cabling infrastructure to support current and future technologies; Addressing latency and failover; and, Designing a hybrid solution that leverages existing infrastructure and hardware.

Presentation Title: IP Master Class: "Megapixels in the Enterprise"
Description: The growth of megapixel surveillance technology was hindered by a series of obstacles but today the barriers are falling causing dramatic acceleration in the current industry trend towards high definition IP systems. Limited bandwidth and networking infrastructure is being addressed. The cost is coming down for the cameras themselves. Effective compression technology is resulting in less data output rates for megapixel cameras. Megapixel technology is now being used in small, mid-sized and large-scale enterprise-wide deployments. Hear Nathan Wheeler discuss megapixel IP camera technology benefits and enhancements, market analysis, trends for business development and growing applications.

| Case Study: "Anaheim Convention Center" |
Description: A network of approximately 200 cameras watches over the Anaheim Convention Center in California, providing images for an IP video management system driven by software from On-Network Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI). The video system includes a combination of cameras ranging from legacy analog cameras tied into the IP network using digital encoders; to network cameras including megapixel network cameras from various suppliers. The cameras are focused on everything from the parking lots to the cash booths, public areas and service corridors, exhibit halls and meeting rooms. The facility serves as the highly visible nerve center of Anaheim and part of a 1,100-acre resort area that includes two Walt Disney theme parks and nearby convention hotels. Learn first- hand, the complete details of the install and the applications it protects.
