NUUO Intelligent Video Surveillance has protected Belawan International Container Terminal
In order to secure the entry to the port, BICT choose NUUO intelligent software in order to analyze video and to count vehicles entering and exiting the port. BICT have installed 32 PTZ and fixed Pixord cameras with NUUO Hybrid surveillance system which can analyze video stream from analog and IP cameras at the same time. BICT has installed cameras to monitor the main gate, cargo areas, ships, cranes and offices so to better protect all facilities.
To detect security threats and to implement security measures, BICT adopted NUUO intelligent video solution (IVS) to monitor and control access to the port as well as the activities of people and cargo. BICT uses remote surveillance with 3G connection and NUUO Remote Live viewer to monitor the container terminal from any location, enabling BICT guards to access the main recording servers more flexibly.

Fluidmesh Point-to-Point Wireless Solution Proves Perfect for Virginia Bridge
Fluidmesh Networks technology continues to meet an ever increasing range of wireless surveillance needs.
The wireless leader, together with integration company Acme Technical Group, recently completed an impressive project to provide video surveillance to the Vietnam Memorial Bridge in Richmond, Virginia.
Transurban Group, which runs the tolls and maintenance for the bridge, sought to install a video surveillance system to monitor road conditions. The ramps of the Vietnam Memorial Bridge, which cross the James River, are quick to freeze over in winter. As part of the Pocahontas Parkway linking Interstates 95 and 295, the bridge provides a Southern bypass of Richmond and accommodates an especially heavy volume of traffic.

IndigoVision ‘Serves Up’ Ace Surveillance Solution for Argentinean Tennis Tournament
IndigoVision’s complete IP-CCTV solution was deployed during the Copa Telmex 2009 tennis tournament in Buenos Aires to provide security surveillance throughout the event.
Copa Telmex is one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in Latin America and is an ATP World Tour 250 series event. The competition is staged every year on clay courts at the 5,500 capacity Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club located in the Palermo area of Argentina’s capital.
IP Video is an ideal CCTV solution for events of this type, where high-quality surveillance has to be quickly and cost-effectively installed just for the duration of the tournament. The distributed nature of IndigoVision’s system allows any component to be installed anywhere on the network; this includes cameras, workstations and video recorders.

"sail2horizons" - MOBOTIX Cameras Sail Twice Around The World, Non-Stop
Bernt Lüchtenborg, a former building contractor from Brake in Germany, has some big ideas: To sail around the world, twice, alone and without setting foot on land – he calls his project sail2horizons.
As if sailing around the world twice was not ambitious enough, after the first circumnavigation (“sailing with the wind, as a warm-up,” as he flippantly refers to it), he plans to turn around and sail against the prevailing wind for a second round. Of course, for such a daring mission, he needs a very special boat. Lüchtenborg has chosen a 23-year-old aluminum yacht custom designed by Horst Glacer.
MOBOTIX is providing 3 cameras and an ExtIO for the project. In addition, the expedition will be supported financially.

Cam_inPIX® - Convincing Infrared Performance
Recordings of Dallmeier cameras featured on "stern TV".
The dynamic range of Cam_inPIX® cameras is significantly higher as with conventional cameras, which is particularly advantageous for images with strong backlighting or infrared light.
Conventional cameras mostly have difficulties with clearly representing images that have a high range in contrast. That is particularly true for representing details in the brightest and darkest areas of an image. Shooting with strong infrared light is always a special challenge for cameras, because the scenario is often very unevenly illuminated. In most cases, very large dark areas dominate the background and the edges of the screen. Persons moving towards the camera are often outshined and thus represented as shapeless white areas. Such video sequences are hardly suitable for professional surveillance as details are unrecognisable and an identification of persons thus becomes impossible.

Bonifacio Hospital Values IQeye Image Quality and Effectiveness
High-tech Corsican hospital utilizes Viseox recording solution and IQinVision cameras.
Bonifacio Hospital, on the island of Corsica, has deployed 23 IQeye megapixel cameras, managed by a Viseox VXCORE video management and storage system. The use of megapixel camera technology allowed the hospital to reduce by more than 50% the number of cameras needed to accomplish their surveillance objectives.
The island of Corsica, at the heart of the western Mediterranean, is 80 kilometers (50 mi) from the coast of Tuscany and 200 kilometers (120 mi) from Nice. Bonifacio is the island’s newest hospital, specializing in maternity and Alzheimer treatment services. Located in the countryside, the hospital is very high-tech, with a strong emphasis on security and video surveillance. Françoise Bigue, Director of the Hospital, established the goal that any upgraded video surveillance system had to be able to recognise anyone entering the facility, unlike the previous analog system that could not accomplish this important function.
